Q: Is there a minimum amount I need to order?
A: You can order as little or as much as you want. No minimum required.
Q: Do you deliver year-round? (NYC only.)
A: We aim to deliver everyday of the year, Monday thru Sunday. However, sometimes with the weather or other events like parades and the NYC marathons makes it difficult. Q: What is the difference between a Shipping and Moving box?
A: Shipping boxes are usually single walled and used to ship small non heavy items so they don’t necessarily need to be sturdy. Moving boxes are stronger and double walled to protect your items during the move.
Q: Are your boxes USPS shippable?
Yes they are! Our boxes meet USPS, UPS and FedEx requirements to be shipped nationwide via airlines and by land. And If you have a UPS account you would like us to use for you, we can do that too.
Q: What are Moving Kits?
A: Moving Kits from Packing R Us are a bundle of practical goodies put together from years of packing experience. We bundled together the number of boxes you would need (multiple room kits are available) with moving accessories like packing paper, tape and other supplies. Specialty kits include specialty boxes to help protect those unique items such as chandeliers, mirrors, mattresses etc.
Q: What are the advantages of buying Moving Kits?
A: Packing a home is one of the most stressful things you could do and since our moving kits include the essential products you’ll need, they help make your packing experience fast and painless. We've taken the time to really come up with an almost exact amount of boxes and moving supplies you will need to get the job done right the first time. Like our individual boxes, we'll ship complete moving kits right to your door. Among our specialized offerings are bedroom moving kits and kitchen moving kits. Q: How do I know the right Moving Kit for me?
A: Planning your move can be hard, but planning what moving supplies you’ll need doesn’t have to be. We put together moving kits based on the size of your home, apartment or office. Sure, everybody has different stuff but we have kits ranging form 1 Bedroom to 5 Bedroom so we’re confident you will fall under one of those categories. We also have kitchen kits, college and studio kits. It is not perfect, but we are strongly confident that our kits are the closest in the industry to pack all of your belongings. As always, if you feel you need just a tad bit more, you can always add individual items to your order.
Q: Do you offer moving services?
A: Yes we do, however we are not a licensed moving company ourselves so we do outsource to a third party to help with your moving
Q: Do you offer professional packing services?
A: Yes, we can pack your items for you.
Q: Do I need to be home when my order is delivered?
A: No, you do not need to be home when your order arrives. For convenience, your order can be dropped off at your doorstep or with you’re doorman, housekeeper etc.
Q: Are your boxes brand new?
A: Absolutely! All of our boxes are brand new and of the best quality. WE DO NOT SELL USED BOXES.
Q How are your boxes dimensions formatted?
A: Our boxes are formatted in inches by Length x Width x Height in inches.
Q: How do orders ship?
A: All orders are shipped via UPS ground.
Q: When should I expect my order to arrive?
Usually orders take about 2-3 business days to arrive. If an order is placed before 4:00 pm EST then it will be shipped the same day. Orders placed after 4:00 pm EST will be processed and shipped on the next business day.
Q: What if I have a huge order or commercial move and need tons of boxes?

Q: What kind of payment do you take?
A: We take payment in the form of Credit or Debit. We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover. We also accept payment by check. No cash.
Q: Do you have a store location where I can purchase your products?
A: We do not have location stores. All of our products can easily be found and purchased through our website www.packingrus.com
Q: What is Edge Crush Test (ECT) and the 200 lbs. bursting test?
A: The 200 lbs. test measures the bursting strength of a box, while the 32 ECT refers to stacking strength. Both are industry standards and boxes that meet 200 lb. test will also exceed 32 ECT stacking strength.
Q: Do your boxes meet the ECT and 200 lbs. requirements?
A: Absolutely! Boxes get weak over time making them more likely to collapse if other boxes are stacked on top of them or making them burst open if they’re packed over capacity. That’s why our boxes are double walled and go through the Edge Crush Test (ECT) and 200 lbs test to make sure we’re offering you the highest quality of boxes on the market. All our boxes come with a Box Certificate Stamp found on the bottom of the box.
Q: Can you magically snap your fingers and have all my packing issues go away?
A: Unfortunately, no...BUT! We’re here to help you every step of the way. Customers have even told us in the past that we’re like moving therapist because we’re here to listen and help you with all your packing needs.
Q: Do you offer therapy during my stressful packing process.
A: ...Not exactly, but we are here to listen and help guide you through this stressful process. Packing your belongings to make sure you have all the information and materials you’ll need to get the job done smoothly.
